#45 Frank Bardessono

Frank Bardessono graduated from California State University, Chico with degrees in psychology and philosophy. A passionate advocate for the developmentally disabled and the homeless, he writes novels on occasion and is often found wandering the wastelands of Southern California with his Australian Shepherds. He elected to send his debut novel in this time capsule to the moon for two primary reasons, the most obvious of which was to preserve it somewhere other than the concrete bunker of the Library of Congress, away from nuclear or climate change catastrophe. The low gravity vacuum of the moon seemed an adequate alternative to store a copy of ‘The Kindness of Ravens’ for hallowed antiquity, be that for future off world colonists or visiting non-terrestrials scouring the remnants of another Type Zero Civilization. The second reason, no less significant than the first, was to provide an additional homage to the same person to whom this novel was dedicated, whose light and love brightened the world.
