How to Watch the Launch

COUNTDOWN TO LAUNCH

Monday January 8th, 2:18am EST

IMPORTANT: The launch is in the early hours of Monday Jan 8th, 2:18am EST! Pre-launch livestream starts 1:30am.

UPDATED: NEW DISCORD INVITE LINK — Join us for the Launch Party on Monday!

HOW TO WATCH THE LAUNCH

OPTION 1: Watch on NASA TV (YouTube)

NASA TV on YouTube will livestream Peregrine’s launch. Just go to NASA’s YouTube channel and scroll down until you see the “upcoming live streams”. Here is a direct link to the Peregrine Launch livestream, but it won’t go live until 1:30am on Monday.

OPTION 2: Writers on the Moon Discord Launch Party (streaming NASA TV)

Writers on the Moon Discord: come watch the NASA TV livestream of the launch in the Writers on the Moon Discord. It’s a voice channel so we can chat and share the experience live. I’ve set up an Event (Peregrine Launch Party) so you can join that directly — we’ll start at 1:30 am on Monday the 8th (which is when NASA’s livestream starts) to hear the pre-launch fun stuff, get to know each other, and just make sure everything is working properly.

The official launch window is 45 minutes long, starting at 2:18am, so don’t be late! (But do come early!)

OTHER WAYS TO WATCH

NASA’s Virtual Guest Program… this is the website link that should have come in the email from NASA (if you signed up for their EventBrite). You can view it in your browser.

ROKU has a NASA TV channel, so you can watch directly that way.

Watch NASA+ coverage in your browser.

Feel free to view any way that works for you!

OTHER COOL STUFF

Cool video on the CLPS (Commercial Lunar Payload Services) program, of which Peregrine is the first to launch!
