The First 50 Slots

(A refresher on why we’re going to the moon and how the process works.)

I know this is moving fast, but we only have a limited time to get this project put together so we can deliver a payload to Astrobotic March 1st! So I was super pleased to see people quickly signing up this week. When I closed the application form, we had 126 applicants! That’s more than the initial 50 slots we’re going to process, but not wildly out of reach.

HERE’S MY PLAN:

1. Process the 50 slots as quickly as possible: emailing people details about paying their $10 for their slot, sending them the upload form, then handling the backend where I prepare those files for the payload.
2. Assess how long that process took
3. See if we have time to open up slots for the remaining 76 applicants (or some fraction thereof)

First 50 Writers on the Manifest: the faster you get your files uploaded, the more people we might be able to bring onboard! So help your buddies out by moving through this quickly!
